Hello and welcome! My name is Sheilah Hale and I am a cottage baker located in Sulphur Springs, Texas. I have been cooking and baking for as long as I can remember. I find comfort and peace creating in my kitchen. I guess you could say it is one of my happy places!

 

My daughters and I have been decorating cookies with friends since they were about 2 years old. After my daughters went to college I decided to take a cookie decorating class while attending a scrapbooking retreat (fun story for another time!). While I have stepped up my decorating skills, whenever my girls are home their friends and I will still go old school with toothpicks, Ziploc bags and lots of sprinkles.
